We are currently working on the dates & details for our 2019 photo safaris, which we will start to announce from the end of 2017 onwards. As of March 2018 we have now launched, dates for India, Botswana & Tanzania. All other 2019 photo safaris will be live and open for bookings by end of April. Many of our other most popular photo safaris will be repeated, together with new destinations and itineraries. Wildebeest Calving & Big Cats, Tanzania
Dates: 6th – 16th Feb 2019
Every year, during the period of January-March nearly 1 million wildebeest congregate on the plains of the Serengeti and Ndutu regions to give birth to approximately 400,000 calves. Making this Tanzania wildebeest calving wildlife photo tour a wildlife spectacle not to be missed. The abundance of game and fresh births attracts many predators and therefore providing for an abundance of fantastic wildlife and photographic opportunities. Following the huge success of our wildebeest calving photo safari in 2018 we are delighted to be repeating this in February 2019.
This 11-day/10-night small group adventure staying in luxury tented accommodation visits a selection of Tanzania’s most prolific wildlife areas. Including the Ndutu Plains, the best area for where the wildebeest migration is located at this time of the year. Together with a visit to the central Serengeti where the mighty granite kopjes rise from the plains and provide a great vantage point for the local lion prides. This safari also features the newly accessible location of the Soit le Motonyi region in the south east part of the Serengeti. An excellent location, far from the busier Serengeti transit areas, and where you are able to find something untouched, wild and spectacular. An area that has fast gained a reputation as a hot spot for the big cats. This wildlife photo safari provides photographic safari vehicles with only 3 guests in each extended game vehicle – allowing each guest with a full row of seats each.

Wild Botswana : Northern Botswana
Dates: Three departures: July & Oct 2019
As one of our most popular wildlife photo safaris our Wild Botswana adventure will take in some of Northern Botswana’s most wildlife prolific parks, including Moremi Game Reserve, the private Khwai Concession area, Botswana’s jewel in the crown; Savute and the Chobe Riverfront. All locations offer excellent photographic and wildlife viewing opportunities where the predators, including lion, leopard and wild dog are regularly seen. The areas are also a haven for other wildlife, such as elephant, hippo, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, lechwe, kudu and a vast array of bird species.

Tigers of Bandhavgarh: India
Dates: Two departures: 7th – 15th April 2019 & 16th – 24th April 2019
Set amidst the Vindhya hills, Bandhavgarh National Park is located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh and is proven as one of the best places in the world to view and photograph the magnificent Bengal Tiger. Where sightings have continued to increase year on year, with 2017 being one of the best years in recent history and with a record number of cubs sighted. Which lays the foundations for the potential of great photographic opportunities in 2018 and beyond. Although our focus with be on photographing tigers there is also a good variety of wildlife to be seen in this stunning national park, which can include: sambar deer, barking deer, chital, nilgai, chinkara, chausingha, jungle cats, languar monkeys and if you are lucky leopard, Dhole and sloth bear. In April 2019 we will be running two photo safaris in India.

Big Cat Wildlife Safari: Maasai Mara, Kenya
The Maasai Mara in Kenya is a wildlife photographers paradise providing copious photographic opportunities and an abundance of wildlife, with almost guaranteed sightings of lion, cheetah and leopard and the location for the famed BBC Big Cat Diary series and countless other wildlife documentaries.

Chimps & Gorilla’s Photo Safari, Uganda
Uganda provides one of the best places in Africa in which to view and photograph mountain gorillas and chimps. This new photo safari will include multiple treks in which to photograph both species, along with time spent on safari in other locations, such as Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for the tree climbing lions. Further details will be available shortly.

Bears of British Columbia: Canada
Dates: TBC: Sept 2019
Visit British Columbia on this photographic tour to experience the annual salmon run and capture images of the grizzly bears as they feast on the salmon. This tour will focus on viewing and photographing black and brown bears in their natural environment. The tour will feature many private boat excursions, limited to just 3 guests per boat to provide plenty of space for each guest and their photographic equipment.
