    Many of our 2018 wildlife photo tours are now open for booking, including our new Tanzania wildebeest calving photo tour in February 2018, our Big Cat wildlife safari in Kenya’s Maasai Mara in June 2018, our popular Botswana wildlife photo tour in July 2018 and for September 2018 a Canadian wildlife adventure. We have also recently launched a new Tigers of Bandhavgarh tour visiting one of India’s best locations to view the Bengal tiger.  We are continually adding news tours and dates so please do keep checking back on this page.

    Wildebeest Calving Season: Serengeti & Ndutu, Tanzania

    Dates: February 10th – 19th 2018

    wildlife photo tours Tanzania February marks the time of year where in the Nduti area of the Serengeti thousands of wildebeest congregate to calve on the plains of the Serengeti. With the abundance of game and fresh births many predators are also in attendance making this a wildlife spectacle that provides for some fantastic wildlife and photographic opportunities. Our accommodation will be a well located and luxury tented camp close to where the action is. Our time will be characterised by maximising time in the field with photographic tuition provided during game drives and also back at camp. Photographers of any level are all very welcome on this tour.

    Tigers of Bandhavgarh: India

    Dates: 17th – 25th April 2018

    bengal-tiger-026Set amidst the Vindhya hills, Bandhavgarh National Park is located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh and is proven as one of the best places in the world to view and photograph the magnificent Bengal Tiger. Where sightings have continued to increase year on year, with 2017 being one of the best years in recent history and with a record number of cubs sighted. Which lays the foundations for the potential of great photographic opportunities in 2018. Although our focus with be on photographing tigers there is also a good variety of wildlife to be seen in this stunning national park, which can include: sambar deer, barking deer, chital, nilgai, chinkara, chausingha, jungle cats, languar monkeys and if you are lucky leopard, Dhole and sloth bear. In addition the park is also home to 240 bird species. Along with two photographic hosts (for a group of 6) we will also be joined by one of India’s most experienced naturalists and award winning guide, Balvinder Singh (Bali). With a maximum group size of 6 guests each of the three vehicles at our disposal will be restricted to just two guests, plus your photographic host or naturalist. Our air conditioned and well appointed accommodation is located close to the park gates and features a swimming pool and elegantly furnished cottages with your own personal verandah.

    Big Cat Wildlife Safari: Maasai Mara, Kenya

    wildlife photo tours Kenya The Maasai Mara in Kenya is a wildlife photographers paradise providing copious photographic opportunities and an abundance of wildlife, with almost guaranteed sightings of lion, cheetah and leopard and the location for the famed BBC Big Cat Diary series and countless other wildlife documentaries. We have extensive experience of travelling to the Maasai Mara over the last twelve years and in 2018 we are planning on running a minimum of two departures of this very popular 8-day wildlife photography tour. Our accommodation will be a centrally located luxury tented camp and our time will be characterised by maximising time in the field with photographic tuition provided during game drives and also back at camp. Photographers of any level are all very welcome on this tour.

    Wild Botswana : Northern Botswana

    Dates: 17th – 28th July 2018

    wildlife photo tours BotswanaAs one of our most popular wildlife photography tours this exciting 12-day adventure will take in some of Northern Botswana’s most wildlife prolific parks, including Moremi Game Reserve, the private Khwai Concession area, Botswana’s jewel in the crown; Savute and the Chobe Riverfront. All locations offer excellent photographic and wildlife viewing opportunities where the predators, including lion, leopard and wild dog are regularly seen. The areas are also a haven for other wildlife, such as elephant, hippo, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, lechwe, kudu and a vast array of bird species. Our accommodation during this wildlife photography tour consists of comfortable mobile tents, complete with ensuite bathroom areas, our own private chef and full support crew. With each camp location carefully chosen for its access to wildlife and in beautiful locations across Botswana’s north.

    Canadian Wildlife Tour : British Columbia

    Dates: September 6th – 18th 2018

    wildlife photo tours CanadaIn 2018 we will be repeating our popular Canadian wildlife photography tour visiting the wildlife rich locations of British Columbia. To include: Johnstone Straits, Knights Inlet and Campbell River  plus time spent at a fabulous location far north in British Columbia to experience the annual salmon run and capture images of the grizzly bears as they feast on the salmon. This tour will focus on viewing and photographing black and brown bears in their natural environment, as well as orcas, humpback whales, bald eagles and sea otters. The tour will feature many private boat excursions, limited to just 3 guests per boat to provide plenty of space for each guest and their photographic equipment.

    In addition to the group wildlife photo tours above we are also able to arrange and design a private and bespoke itinerary for your wildlife (non-hosted) safari. We are able to cater for any number of guests, from solo travellers to larger groups and can customise your private safari as you wish. Arranging and booking all components of your tour as needed and where you will benefit from our vast knowledge of East and Southern Africa and North American destinations. Together with benefiting from our local contact base and the excellent rates that we enjoy with local ground operators and accommodations. We focus on ensuring your experience will meet all of your expectations and delivers a carefully planned itinerary that is suited to your preferences and budget. Should you wish to also be hosted by Andy and/or Sarah Skinner we can also put together your own privately hosted group. For groups sizes of 4 or more people we can often price at the same price as one of the group trips above. We can work with you to design your perfect itinerary, with accommodation and duration to suit all of your requirements and budgets, plus offering you a choice of who you would like as your photographic tour leader.
